I have worked in TV and video production since December 1997, learning my trade by as a runner! I progressed quickly developing an aptitude for writing, directing and producing and have worked on many productions for video and some for TV as well as some experience of live multi camera events and have directed and vision mixed certain productions. I have also self taught myself to edit to a solid and credible level on Premier and Final Cut Pro.
Projects listed were taken as elements of production or on the main, full turnkey solutions with budgets managed from £ 500 – 500,000!
From 2001 the majority of my work was in producing volume productions to fulfil in store TV networks (Jewson, Graham and ASDA). This involved maximising budgets set by the client to deliver the best production required within the outlined proposed costs. During the same period I have directed many videos used as conference support material particularly vox pops!

conferences & events CV
Moving into conference and events was a natural transition from video production, initially creating play-ins, stings and animations to support presentations. From there my skills adapted to direct people on stage, writing presentations as well as creating the media to support, namely PowerPoint. Clients became more confident with my work and relied on us taking on more and more responsibility. This involved other areas such as venue finding, entertainment, logistics, gala dinners and guest speakers. Attention to detail was always critical and client confidence on stage imperative to a successful event which I managed using a reliable team of audio visual technicians. Budgets ranged from £ 5000 – 300,000 using internal meeting rooms right through to grand hotels such as Gleneagles.
