The organisation and planning of any conference is critical along with consideration to the style of presentation ensuring the audience are informed and feel integral but without detracting from the principals.

From my experience, the piece and mind of the delegate is hugely important, therefore every detail must be considered. This may include arranging flights and transfers right through to the ensuring they are fully aware of agendas and even what the weather will be on the day!
A venue for your conference can make or break it. As part of the process venues are scrutinized with a rigid check list to ensure that they can support the levels of service and standards expected. A pre-conference visit always takes place regardless of whether I/you have used it before or not.
From invitations and signage right through to stage graphics and PPT, anything to do with your event should follow a theme ensuring consistency of message. A great way to support this is with video. Well produced, this can add real value to a presentation be it an interview to camera or the latest product video.
A well chosen event or activity can add lots to a conference. Be it a golf tournament or a ‘hands on’ team building event, well executed this can be as important as the main conference. Activities are very much tailored to the ultimate result with consideration given to the delegates. I have access to many independent companies offering these services which will be fit seamlessly into the day!
As well as the obvious methods of portraying your company such as video production and graphics I endorse the use of external speakers, be it industry leaders, sporting legends or celebrities. A well selected guest speaker can offer kudos to any event and help to reinforce the message.
